David Bowie - Life on Mars - Limited Edition print.
A tribute to one of music's true originals.
Life on Mars is my take (originally released via my alias KiPS.art) on David Bowie, showing him in a retro spacesuit against a painted vision of Mars. The helmet is filled with the names and lyrics of some of Bowie's best-known songs, written in a rough graffiti style to give the piece a more handmade, rebellious feel.
The original artwork was painted using acrylics and spray paint, with a neon-lit Mars sitting behind Bowie. For the limited edition prints, Mars has been recreated as a painted element within the artwork.
An Embellished version, which gets you the hand painted frame to mimic the original, is also available to spec with your artwork.
A limited edition run of 250 prints have been released to maintain exclusivity.
