Ian Salmon, a full-time artist based in Essex, is renowned for his captivating paintings of iconic pop figures, automotive art, and more recently, nostalgic collage artwork.

Despite his early passion for art during school, Ian pursued a career in IT, which took precedence for many years. It wasn't until his mid-30s that Ian rediscovered his love for drawing, which quickly evolved into painting and accepting private commissions. A couple of years later, he ventured into selling his own prints. With the onset of the pandemic, Ian decided to fully commit to his childhood passion for art, and he hasn't looked back since.

In 2023, Ian took his artwork on the road, participating in exhibitions and events across the UK. What began as small regional showcases soon expanded to larger, full-weekend expos at prestigious venues like Beaulieu, Brooklands, London Olympia, and Birmingham NEC. Notable highlights include the British Motorshow, London Film and Comic Con, Man Cave Expo, and Autosport International. The 2024 calendar is already filling up with major events, including bookings for the Ideal Home Show and Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Drawing heavy inspiration from musical and nostalgic references, Ian has been fortunate to sell his works and limited edition prints to collectors around the world. He continues to expand his portfolio daily, fueled by his passion for creating art that resonates with others.

Ian frequently receives commissions for special and personal projects, and he takes great pride in crafting bespoke pieces for each client, ensuring a truly unique and meaningful artistic experience.
