Let Ian Do His Thing

I had been looking for some Jimi Hendrix art or a concert poster for a while but could not quite find what I wanted. I asked Ian to come up with something a bit more unique and pretty much left him to it. I am very happy with the end product and the piece sits pride of place in the centre of the room. I often get positive comments on it and I would not hesitate to recommend Ian and his talents. In fact I already have plans for another commission in the future.

Have long been an admirer of Ian’s work and was waiting for the right opportunity to commission something special. A very good friend of mine recently turned 40 and after many years of going to Le Mans together for the 24 hour race I approached Ian to see if it would be possible to do something from the iconic 1971 film Le Mans starring Steve McQueen for his birthday. Have Ian a few ideas but let his creative genius come up with something. After a few weeks of anticipation I went to see Ian to personally collect the finished original. All I can say is WOW, I was blown away by the result and more importantly so was the good friend when I reluctantly gave him his present ( yes I wanted to keep it for myself). Thank you so much Ian for the attention to detail and the communication through the whole process. I will be back for more.....

Asked Ian to do a portrait of my horse that I lost over 4 years ago now. I couldn't have been happier with the result. He captured the coat so well I could reach out and stroke him once again. He also captured his character perfectly. Thank you so much Ian. A cherished memory captured.

I first saw Ian’s art on Instagram and was taken by a cool design featuring a dog. Since we were having our kitchen updated and I needed something funky for the walls I contacted Ian. Fast forward a few weeks and the portrait promptly arrived. And what a belter it is, great leftfield perspective and use of media - it now hangs pride of place in my new kitchen and The real Buddy loves it too! Can’t recommend Ian enough, great value, great art- thank you!

I asked Ian to do a painting for me for my husbands birthday. I knew I wanted something with a Paris-Roubaix theme but beyond that I had no idea what it should look like. Ian came up with a brilliant idea that not only captured the race but made it personal to my husband as well, making it a truly unique and one off piece of art. The painting arrived today and it is incredible. The art work is exceptional and Ian is clearly a very talented artist.

First bought a Liam and Noel Gallagher canvas from Ian for my friends birthday, and I was so happy with the quality that I asked Ian to do a Paul Weller canvas for me and needless to say the quality and detailing on the work was outstanding. He also was very committed to adding anything that I wanted in terms of colours background styles and what era of style weather it was from his jam days or later years. I trusted Ian to paint in his style and to create something special that he did, I most definitely recommend to anyone and I am most certainly a returning customer.

I commissioned a portrait of my best friends Cavador for her birthday. She had wanted a portrait of him for years, but had never found the right artist to capture his personality on canvas. As well as absolutely nailing his cheeky expression in the portrait, Ian used my friends favourite colour – bright, bold magenta – as the background. She was over the moon with the result!
