Royalty meets rave culture in Queen of Clubs, the latest instalment from my KiPS.art alias with the irreverent and contemporary series of Queen Elizabeth II artworks.

Created using acrylic and spray paint, Queen of Clubs was originally commissioned by a collector who loved the previous Queen releases and wanted to see the iconic royal portrait taken in a completely new direction.

This time, the inspiration comes from Britain's legendary nightclub culture of the 1990s and early 2000s. The artwork pays homage to the clubs, nightlife and hedonistic energy that defined an unforgettable era of British popular culture, bringing together the traditional image of Queen Elizabeth II with the rebellious spirit of the dance floor.

The result is a striking piece of contemporary British pop art that combines royal iconography, urban art and nightclub culture in a way that is unmistakably KiPS.art. It's playful, nostalgic and deliberately unconventional — taking one of Britain's most recognisable figures and placing her firmly in the world of clubs, music and nightlife.

As with other artworks in the Queen series, the Union Jack remains an important visual element. For collectors looking to take the presentation a step further, the artwork can be paired with a bespoke Embelished custom-painted Union Jack frame, creating a seamless extension of the British imagery beyond the print itself.

Each print is produced on museum-grade 240gsm fine art paper and is individually tagged and numbered. The edition is strictly limited to just 250 prints, with every piece supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
