Over on my Contemporary Art alias KiPS.art I’ve released Queen of Hearts 2.0, a follow on from my originally release Queen of Hearts. Created with acrylic and spray paint, the painting was a commission for a client who loved the original but wanted a less ‘Urban’ version with 2.0 showing the Queen with no tattoos and piercings. The Union Jack is of course still painted into the frame for a statement effect

Marilyn Monroe - Original Painting and Limited Edition print release.

Limited edition prints taken from my painting of one of the original ‘blonde bombshells’ - Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn became one of the most popular sex symbols of the 1950s and early 1960s and was emblematic of the era's sexual revolution. She was a top-billed actress for a decade, and her films grossed $200 million (equivalent to $2 billion in 2021) by the time of her death in 1962. Long after her death, Monroe remains a major icon of pop culture.

Paul Newman Rolex Daytona - Mixed Media Painting

Paul Newman Rolex Daytona painting.

The piece is mixed media with an acrylic painting of the famous watch overlaying digital collage featuring numerous Paul Newman films. The artwork is finished off with the inscription from the back of the watch 'Drive Carefully Me'. This watch was sold at auction in 2017 for a record $17.8m.

Liverpool FC commission painting

Something a little different with this commission completed this summer!

The brief was quite simple - paint the Liverpool crest in my 'own style'. The difficult part of this was that the request came in in the hours straight after the Champions League final.....I'm a Spurs fan.

The end result is a kind of deconstructed Liverpool crest and features the Liver Bird with 6 stars on it's feathers to signify the 6 European Cup wins. Along the top are some of their key players - Virgil Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane plus of course their manager Jürgen Klopp.

My paintings are at the London Motor Show this week!

Delighted to announce that 2 of my paintings will be on display during London Motor Show at Excel this week!

I remember being a young lad in the 80s/90s visiting the show whilst it was the NEC, heading round & collecting all the manufacturers brochures, before heading home and drawing/designing my own future models for weeks on end. Never envisaged that years down the line I'd have my own art on display at the show 😃.

I was there on Thursday and also today and possibly tomorrow. The Jag painting is on the Evolution E-Types stand and the Mercedes one on a Concours competition stand. Both cars will be there so you'll likely spot those first.
